More Outflow Boundaries - Center Exposed

#1 Postby wxman57 » Thu Oct 16, 2003 2:28 pm

Perhaps the NHC is looking at a different storm than I am. I see several outflow boundaries moving away from the storm to the north, west, and south. The center is half exposed to the southwest of the convection, indicating strong SW shear continues. It looks pretty disorganized to me - not much different from yesterday:

I don't believe those convective lines below the LP are outflow. In fact, are they not being pulled into the circulation?

57 that is why they will bump the winds to 65 mph at 5 PM because the center is now not completly exposed as it was clearly yesterday but more under the convection.
