Looks like CV season doesn't want to quit this year! Anyway IMHO they're both fish.

It has been a very active CV season from June with TD#2 to Nicholas and maybe TD#20 in october. But thankfully the islands haved seen little activity from those systems.

Fujiwhara setup is classic for invest and Nick, and in that case I do not think both will become fish.

I think "Odette" has a future emerging in the Carribean down the road.

Respectfully, that is a pretty grand statement. Why do you think that?

The posts or stuff said are NOT an official forecast and my opinion alone. Please look to the NHC and NWS for official forecasts and products.

Model Runs Cheat Sheet:
GFS (5:30 AM/PM, 11:30 AM/PM)
HWRF, GFDL, UKMET, NAVGEM (6:30-8:00 AM/PM, 12:30-2:00 AM/PM)
ECMWF (1:45 AM/PM)
TCVN is a weighted averaged

Opinions my own.

Actually, if any Fujiwhara effect were to occur, it would drive Nicklaus further south, and the current Invest 94L would be shunted northward (as it already is). The rotation around a common point is a cyclonic one which would act to keep Nicklaus shunted with the weaker Invest swung around.

IF the FUJIwhara effect takes place, Nicklaus will affect 94L in one of two ways, and that's an IF.

1) It will swing it around into the circulation of Nicklaus
2) It will shear 94L apart

IMHO, for 94L to develop, it must be free of the influence of Nicklaus, and even if, the hostile westerlies await for it further north.

Doh... my mistake, dyslexia kicking in once again...

However I still feel it's possible for the 94 invest to go into the Carribean if it stays at or below TD status and remains a wave or rather weak.

To me it looks more like an Iris or Mitch type event, although in track only because I do not think TD20 will become nowhere near that strong.
