Swirl in central MDR
Guys, what are your thoughts on the developing swirl near 9N 38W? I was just alerted about it by the admin of a Facebook weather group to which I belong (who's also a recent member of S2K - I forget his username).

Visible image saved loop shows that swirl with little convection.Let's see what happens if anything with that in the next few days.

Re: Swirl in central MDR
My friend,I edited the title to add a general area instead of a latitude and longitude as title has to be changed many times when a specific location is added.

Thanks! I was kinda wondering how frequently I would need to update its position in the title, as it seems to be moving quite quickly.

Little button of convection over the center, how cute.
Worth looking at the models?

Nice catch! It’s definitely a swirl to keep an eye on.
But is it me or does the swirl look to be mid-level?

Definitely low level with that latest warm core button of convection in the center, also shown on the map as 1012 mb surface feature.
