Cape Verde season may not be over just yet.

so we may have "17"/Mindy getting ready to form and we may have another 1 get ready to form.

Maybe 1 last Cape Verde system. But the odds of it making it across the Atlantic are probably next to zero.

Oh the joys of the early to mid October tropics lol

Well, this has been an odd year in the tropics. Ana formed extremely early. TD 2 formed further east than any TD for so early in the season. So having something come from the area of Cape Verde this late in the season would not be too surprising to me!

I agree JCT about not being surprised. It would never make it across the Atlantic I bet.. but it would still be quite a site.

We shall see what happens.. :)

I agree with JCT. This has been a weird year all-in-all. A late season CV Storm would be perfect for what this season has already had to offer. Also agree that if it developed only the fish would need to take note.

The posts or stuff said are NOT an official forecast and my opinion alone. Please look to the NHC and NWS for official forecasts and products.

Model Runs Cheat Sheet:
GFS (5:30 AM/PM, 11:30 AM/PM)
HWRF, GFDL, UKMET, NAVGEM (6:30-8:00 AM/PM, 12:30-2:00 AM/PM)
ECMWF (1:45 AM/PM)
TCVN is a weighted averaged

Opinions my own.
