32° and very light snow in Sherman with no returns visible. Extremely light. Excruciatingly light. But, it's snowing. :cold:

Don't know what you mean - I LOVE cold and snow. Don't try to take credit for the cold and icy weather that I brought to Texas this winter. I promised the cold and ice last summer. Perhaps if that snow continues for a few weeks at the current intensity then you can make a small snowman. ;-)

You are a man of your word. Give us February and we will pay up next winter...maybe

Southern Tarrant county is starting to fill in. You folks might see some sleet too here pretty soon

The radar returns down near Cedar Hill are not reaching the ground. Seeing nothing at all.

Zero

Winner winner chicken dinner! Just got the notification that they cancelled the flight. Still have 3 or 4 other flights leaving later that aren't cancelled at this time, but my guess is that a few more of the options will be cancelled as well...

I'm in cedar hill as well. Just checked outside again, it's not as "hard" as it was before, but there are sprinkles floating around. But yeah, it's basically nothing right now. It was heavier 20-25 minutes ago.

Mets, watching the 850-700 MB frontogenesis on the SPC analysis, this seems to be where the action is kicking off. What ya think?

That's the same band that moved across me here in Arlington and it had some sleet and a few flakes mixed in.

I live on the East side of Lake Arlington.

Was out gathering a load of wood with a flashlight and noticed something blowing in the beam of light and I thought, Wait! Could it be?! Nope, it was just blowing dirt.

Appears the main rain shield is moving SE now and we are left with the small returns still moving NE.

This was predicted by most every model. There was an initial band of rain to the south. Now we wait to see if/when the radar fills in. It appears to be trying.

The agony of waiting lol. This is what I meant earlier by over-analyzing every pixel on radar. TPB is probably right it's waiting for the 700mb front sagging south from Oklahoma. 9pm is when the models that do have stuff really kick things up. Or we converge to the NAM

Nothing on radar return, but yet a heavy (liquid) mist is falling here in Weatherford.
