Looks like Irma refusing to turn NW, looks still almost due N... The light purples in NE eyewall was just E of Marco..

Trees can snap at much lower mph than 140 depending on type of tree and type of soil. I've seen telephone posts and trees snap in an 80 mph downburst. At least that's the wind speed the NWS reported
