He did mention for people to not call him and put his phone on silent. It could be that he's just trying to capture the hurricane without extra commentary. Hopefully...


You can still hear wind noise though.

There’s been tornado warnings in Melbourne since midnight last night. Every time one ends, they issue another. The next one is until 3:45pm

All of Marathon Key and the middle keys are under water. Reports on twitter is the surge was 10 feet in many locations. Up to 14 feet.

Wind picking up to hurricane here at RSW airport...Horizontal rain fog white-out blowing...Trees look like hurricane force...Parking lot light poles bending...Starting to make low roaring sound and railings starting to moan...Terminal announced "Stay away from windows due to dangerous winds"...

Yeah for those focusing on a particular track line or landfall point, save and share this graphic. This is Irma's landfall at Marco Island - with basically the whole state getting impact of some sort....

Jeffs back,somehow ambient noise was there,but his voice wasn't. that was super weird.
