Dodging rain most of the day here so far in St. Lucie County. Half an inch, perhaps less. Plenty of rain off shore that looks to be heading this way.

Lookin' like most everyone is thinking that 92L is mostly "full of hot air" but will be low on precip lol. For what its worth, if 92L happens to stick around past midnight Friday.... so will the contest

12z Euro wants to close off a low off the E coast of FL on Sunday, moving slowly up the SE coast early next week. Looks like a TS off of Carolinas on this run. The long oddesy of 92L marches on... However, I notice 92L is no longer a link on the floater page. Perhaps they finally pulled the plug on it?

NHC has dropped the 92l floater. Isn’t it now officially dead?

Thanks! Well us mellow Florida folks just don't see Harvey deepening to anything over a Cat. 4 and have little interest to jump into the Harvey Discussion thread and sounding alarmist. Besides, even IF biblical quantities of rain bury ALL of of Eastern Texas under 5' of water.....in time it WILL recede  In all seriousness though, hope everyone over there does stay vigilant and stay safe.

Yeah, and the Euro menaces the Carolina coast next week with 92L as a TS, so it would be fitting for them to call Bones on it now. Adds to the drama.

I noticed that too. "It's gone", wait.... its back. The little disturbance that could?

Howdy neighbor, I'm in St. Lucie as well. Its been drier than I expected, but definitely looks like we have some moisture headed our way.

As if a broad low pressure area is wanting to develop over the FL Straights this afternoon, convection increasing on its eastern quadrant as more energy form the h70 vorticity approaches the surface trough.

If not too late, add me to the UNDER.
I've seen less rain from 92L then on normal days!

I see the broad turning in the lower levels that you are seeing as well. If it continues to build convection it could maybe work something to the surface, however the western side is going to be adversely affected by Harvey's outflow.

Well here in Downtown Miami where I work the dark clouds and rain have certainly moved in this afternoon.

It does look like I may be proven wrong. The atmosphere appears to have become all juiced up in a hurry.....decent storm even blew up and approached from the east.
