Nothing to wonder there because that is interaction between an upper trough and a wave and the divergent flow is causing those thunderstorms to grow and upper winds are between 30-40 kts so nothing is going to develop there with those kind of unfavorable conditions.

Expect y'all are right, but convection has sure been persistent in those areas for some time now.
