Wow.....This is Nice

#1 Postby southerngale » Mon Sep 29, 2003 6:01 pm

Finally, a warm, not hot day here in SE Texas. I think our high was only about 80° --- I could be outside for longer than 1 minute without breaking out in a sweat. Now that's something!!

I think that temps in the low to mid 80's with low humidity is ideal!

Well for here today the high managed to get to 51 after a morning low of 40:)..............
Sitting at 46 right now expected to drop into the mid and upper 30s tonight..................
Rest of the week looks to be in the 40s and 50s for highs with lows in the 30s with even a slight chance for a few flakes of snow come wednesday night!!!!!!!!!!!!

It didn't even reach 80°F here, to the west-southwest of you, Chad.

SF, it sounds like you {and others that posted their daily low and high temperatures in the "Local Weather Observations/Climate Summaries forum"} have a digital themometer that indicates the time the early morning low and the afternoon high temperatures are reached. I have two digital themometers (with other a few other features).

Nope, Tom. CHS WFO bottomed out at 53º at 6:11 am
I have a Taylor mercury mini-max thermometer. Can't really get the time on it, unfortunately.

Hey GA,
I checked my records from last year. We had not been this cool until the 17th of October.

Low to mid 50's for lows to persist through the weekend and then possibly even colder (into the 40's) for next week. Could the hazy hot and humid days really be over for good?!?!
