I'll be happy if I get at least a half an inch of rain.

LOL this event has been so terrible that's probably my hope too... remember when we were gonna get 4-5 inches this week and the GFS had 10 inches through the end of the month?

Seriously super frustrating! Latest hrrr shows my locations picking up not even hardly a quarter. It's been off the walls showing training one run then dodging every storm the other. Not looking good.

Also some super high totals coming in from southern Oklahoma. Just north of our place in Tishomingo has gotten nearly 8 inches.

The line is beginning increase easterly movement. Also seeing a bit of a southerly sag. If it holds together and keeps moving, we might be hearing some thunder in Austin in a few hours.

On a side note, areas between San Angelo and Brownwood have received upwards of 6+ inches. That rainfall is flowing into the Concho which flows into the Colorado River at O.H Ivie Lake.

Looking at radar, cells might actually be back building down the boundary from earlier today.

Most of DFW fails to get a half inch on the latest HRRR... maybe not even a quarter inch in Denton/Collin Counties

Not surprising, it looks like the cold front is already pushing into the NW portions of DFW. The storms coming in from the SW look to be breaking up. There might be subsidence over N. Texas kicked off from the storms over Oklahoma.

My last minute rain dance looks to be paying off! The leading edge has entered Travis County but hasn't made it to my hood just yet. I expect rain will begin to fall here in about 30 minutes.

We got rain and thunder and lightning. We also had a 20 min power outage. Long enough to go around and turn off/unplug stuff, and then report the outage.

Well that was anticlimactic from what was being forecast. I'll be at a soccer tourney all day now. Glad to get this tourney over though. Need a break from soccer. :)

Just waking up. If it rained, I slept through it. Looking at the radar, I have a sinking feeling that everyone north of the river got rain but here on the southside, once again missing out but I'll go check my rain gauges to verify.

DFW airport hardly registered any rain at 0.06". With not much to go for the month only 0.16" thus far that is very dry for what is the wettest month of the year. No longer is it just a funny note but does not bode well for summer. The El Nino forecast is also looking bleak.

As I mentioned to Tireman4's post, of the past 4-5 summers this one makes me the most anxious for being a hot one.

Yay, it did rain after all over my yard. Just glancing at one of my gauges near the back door and it looks like it's close to 3 quarters of an inch. More rain is moving in.
