TheProfessor is talking about a storm in Columbus Ohio, not in Texas. Most storms are just west/northwest and southwest of DFW.

The cell nearing Denton is probably dropping some big hail

Yes, sorry about any confusion. I had a bit of adrenaline rush there, specifically since I wasn't able to track the storm. I would be lying if I said I wasn't excited, but I'm extremely glad we don't have some of the parameters that are in place down in Oklahoma and Texas. If the storm had dropped a tornado, especially a significant one, I fear there would have been many fatalities due to many people outside not knowing that there was even a storm approaching.

Good for storms but bad for anyone in DFW looking for rain. Storms west are moving NE and storms SW are moving east.

The turn is pretty noticeable on the southern part of the storm especially where the tornado possibly is. Hugging the Denton, Tarrant line so Flower Mound and later Lewisville should probably watch this closely.

Looks like baseball to softball size. I can just see Brent telling that storm to keep the jog north.

Could be another gazillion dollar hail storm if it goes through the Lewisville, Frisco, McKinney corridor.

Meanwhile crossing of the Red Sea split in urban core metroplex. Rains and activity just to the north, and to the south. Zilch for Dallas and Tarrant counties
