Last snowfall days - January 25th and 26th, 2000.

Sounds like the luck I've had, last snow of 1" or more was on December 17th 2000, one day after an F4 Tornado ripped through Tuscaloosa, Alabama. A storm I will never forget.

Okay, this is Jeb here in northern Virginia.
First flakes will be in mid November, associated with a cold front and a Low moving NNE up along it, causing the 540 thickness to move south of Woodbridge. Could even whiten the ground.
Watch out Thanksgiving to December 5th------ we could see 6 inches to a foot. This winter is going to be very cold with a lot of snow. We will be blasted with an epic nor'easter in late Jan or early Feb which will dump 36 inches of wind-whipped snow on Woodbridge, most of Virginia and clear up to Maine. Even Ohio will get 12 to 20 inches from that one. The models are gonna be really fun to watch in December, January, February, and March. Get a link to 'em and keep it handy!!!
Don't EVER Leave Home without it:

Cuz folks this is gonna be a winter to be remembered. You will be telling your grandkids about it.
Get those shovels ready. Snow blowers are for elderly or infirm peeps. Get that shovel ready and shovel every snow!!!!! You better keep up with it cuz it's just gonna keep on coming. Watch out Lake-Effect areas-----You will be buried!! It's going to start early this winter!!! Then----Northeast, Mid Atlantic, even southeastern states------You will be hit too.
Not only am I gonna enjoy this very cold, very snowy winter------I will be praying for it to be even worse. I never get enough. I always want more.
Enough is NEVER enough!!
