Have to disagree. These storms have survived the MDR and ATL trip. Again, what happens once they cross is the more important issue.

The comments and opinions I make are borderline crazy and should not be taken too seriously. Please consult NOAA for information.

This is reminding me of how little Julia started her life. ROBUST circulation right off Africa that seemed to always be noticeable by visibile satellite all the way across the Atlantic. I have a feeling this one will rage quickly if it gets in the right conditions. I

Yeah, it's quite a swirl-er. It could look healthier, but as far as naked swirls go, it looks alright for now. Until the already strong shear gets stronger (which it should).

looks like the next 36hrs it could have some trouble with shear, its in 40kts of shear right now but should move into a more favorable shear environment there after which I believe this has a chance to strengthen

It wouldn't surprise me, given the shear, if this doesn't even make it to the favorable conditions without dissipating first.

Makes sense. However all storms so far have limped into the Caribbean or near the Bahamas. We'll have to wait on this one too, my guess.

I still think this will recurve before the Bahamas but we need to keep an eye out just in case.
