I drove down to irb earlier about an hour ago.. Man that was scary.. 8foot or more waves... No beach left.. Waves crashing onto the boardwalk...

High tide is 3:48 AM there and that is about the time that next squall line brings in some TS strength winds.

Was down at irb around, it was low tide but wow the waves. Even the surfers seemed hesitant with the rip currents

This is silly. They're still measuring higher FL winds now up to 90 KT

flight level winds are not that important when we also have surface winds. Highest wind that can be justified is 70 kts, and that is being generous

Bald point had a wind gust to 78mph which is located near Alligator Point. Wind dropped to 20mph after must be in the eye now.
