First decent rain shower here in Panama City. No wind but we aren't going to see any wind to speak of anyway.

Im sure a few of the squalls will bring some good winds. And you might even get part of the wall as the eye that seems to be forming is quite large.

I can't believe they didn't upgrade this yet being this close to official hurricane status. At least for the general publics sake so it may be taken more seriously for those that need the reassurance of what this is capapble of doing. For all the "it's only a tropical storm" folks, ya know...

HERMINE HAS STRENGTHENED TO A HURRICANE...

Data from an Air Force Reserve Hurricane Hunter aircraft indicate
that maximum sustained winds in Hermine have increased to near 75
mph (120 km/h). Based on these data, Hermine is now upgraded to a
hurricane, the fourth hurricane of 2016 in the Atlantic basin.
