Cap seems to be still hanging on some bit over houston. Storms that orginated around bay city are dying down as they pass over me.

I'm keeping a eye on that lone cell as there is enough sheer and instability for it to go tornadic.

Literally as soon as i typed my previous post, you can see near Columbus evidence of the cap trying to break and showers coming into the metroplex.

Jeff Lindner posted a website to view live bayou cameras set up along Brays & Buffalo Bayous. They've just set up the camera downtown at Milam. Streaming video looks good. One more camera to set up (Mayde Creek in west Houston north of Cullen Park).

Latest HRRR is terrible for Houston. Long stripe of 10" with more to come after the 15 hour model run.
