Looked pretty tropical on radar with a pretty good subtropical-type structure on satellite.

I always find storms such as this interesting, but isn't this Joaquin regenerated? This looks quite a bit like the Medicane we spotted in the Mediterranean Sea a few weeks ago.

This one definitely looks like a candidate for post season analysis, for those who went with a higher # of named storms.

Almost positive its not Joaquin related. Joaquin took a similar path as this system, but approached Portugal about 10 days earlier, around October 8.
