Central Atlantic Wave
There could be a twist and deepening convection to the Central Atlantic wave in the Inter Tropical Convergence Zone.

Re: Central Atlantic Wave
Yeah, I brought that up in the models thread (should have started a new thread). It looks like it could have some potential. Definitely looks like it's amplifying.

Re: Central Atlantic Wave
Just a weak wave. GFS moves it into S. America next Tuesday. Caribbean VERY hostile - lots of wind shear.

The Caribbean actually becomes a good bit less hostile ~9/13 IF you can believe recent GFS runs. For now, I'll take with a grain. Also, even if that occurs, there's no telling how long it would last.

Re:
[quote="gatorcane"]12Z GFS is trying to spin up a low now from this area of disturbed weather between the Leewards and Africa and shoot it west towards the Southern Leewards. At 150 hours we see a 1007MB low east of the southern Leewards:

Actually, that's east of the southern Windwards. And should that pan out, it would be nail biting time for moi!
