Congratulations Danny! You get the award for 'Ugliest Hurricane Ever'! No longer is Bertha from last year the ugliest hurricane known.

Slightly off-topic but I thought it would be interesting to see a side by side comparison of size with Danny and Igor. It's amazing to see the potential of range sizes for TCs. The are almost exactly to scale using the degrees of latitude and longitude.

Small storms can rise up and fall down very quickly. This is living proof that a tiny storm can decapitate in a heartbeat.

As long as Danny can maintain a solid LLC, if it gets into better conditions it can pulse back up very rapidly.

For most of us who've been watching these TCs for a long time this is no surprise at all to see deep convection firing over the center again.

More like an embarrassment. Exposed and possibly becoming a naked swirl. Go put some clothes on, Danny! :P

This goes for anyone who are down in life, if this storm can go through shear and dry air and still generate convection, you can do anything in life.

This storm is motivational.
