NHC's 5 day track inching north with each advisory... Now skirting the north coast of Hispaniola... Only take a 30 mile north adjustment to miss PR and Hispaniola and then we can see if Danny will recover any after moving through the dry air/shear wall...

Very good point. We're not talking about much of a distance difference between A) plowing right into the mountains of Hispanola and getting torn apart or B) missing them completely and remaining over water. I know that shear and dry air are the primary forces that should weaken Danny in the 36-60 hour time frame. But if he stays over water, I can easily see a scenario where he rebounds thereafter if he dodges land.

Just my opinion, listen to the experts, ahhh ... you know the drill!

Can't believe how small Danny is! He is smaller than the rain system that just moved through SE TX! Reminds me of two others, Jerry(Baytown 1989) and Humberto(2007). Size is the comparison. No other comparison except for RI like Humberto. Jerry is so small that even though he is CAT2 it won't be difficult to disrupt his core. Moving toward a more hostile environment. We shall see.

The plume of dust in front of Danny is shown to decrease tremendously over the next 48 hours.

Remember your charts are for dust only. Water vapor is critical and can help mitigate the effects of dust.

It is a web application and it does not have paths set to go to the instance you created when you plugged in the data to get the image. Trust the programmer on this one it is my specialty.

If it can survive the next 72 hrs this could rebound to where it is now or even more intense potentially so be prepared for the worst and hope for the best{goes over the big islands}

I've had this problem, apparantly you can't directly link that page as it's scripted and is different depending on what you select--there's a longer page to link but I've never figured out how to do so.

When you create a custom view at NASA is posts the information to that URL. You cannot then visit the link to view what options you selected. You have to start again with your options:

If you want an easier way to customize things from NASA's satellite, you cane use this tool I have here:

You can save your options. (Once you create a view you can use the "Remove Frame" link to then share the direct link to NASA.)

So pressure is lower and wind speeds are not as high as NHC has it?

So they probably over did wind speed which I actually thought was correct and under did MB?

JB was just on the Fox Business Channel. He is not worried about Danny, thinks it will be torn apart by shear. He did raise concern for the wave behind Danny though.....MGC
