Lake Texoma is rising sharply (nearly a half foot in the past six hours).
Currently sitting 1.75 feet below the spillway at 638.25 feet above sea level.
Should go over the spillway again by midday tomorrow.

From fish biologist Bob Lusk of Whitesboro, Texas:
"At this moment, there are 1.3 million gallons of water per second coming into Lake Texoma. They are releasing about 250,000 gallons per second."

8-10 inches in Beaumont Wednesday and Wednesday night caused a lot of flooding, thanks to Bill. Car rescues off Eastex Freeway. Insane rain.

I received 2.6" from Bill. Thankfully not enough to cause many issues. It was just enough to allow me to leave my sprinkler system off for a while longer as dry spots were starting to develop. Sending prayers to areas affected by the flooding.

While we are on the subject of rain, one of our local weather station guys last night said that even if the rain completely stops for the rest of the month, Austin is already above normal rainfall for June.
He also said that if it did not rain AT ALL for the rest of the year, we will still be above normal. Kind of amazing since we are not even halfway through the year.
The EWX put this graphic together.
