How is this for little rainfall. Since the 1st of November last year DRT has received .54 in rainfall. There is no point of watering my lawn. Heck.. it never even came out of hibernation. That is over half a year.

You may have a decent chance of getting more rain than that in the next 7 days!

I'm not holding my breath.. we seem a bit cursed. :/ There is always hope I guess hehe. Incidentally my weather station is reading 100 (maybe a bit high) N wind at 5. Right on the dryline.

GFS says maybe 1/2" rain total over the coming week. Interesting dew point forecast for today. It correctly forecast the passage of the dry line a few hours ago. Dew point dropped from 68 to 42:

Is it me, or did I just witness an area of moderate to heavy rain moving towards Austin from the southwest, just suddenly dissipate? It's like it hit a wall when it got towards the city. I confirmed with three different radars, but the radars may be wrong(?). Hmmm.

I'm seeing that as well. Another big cell just developed farther SW of Austin and is moving your way.

NWS Brownsville afternoon discussion...Hopefully the Forecast Rainfall is not a mirage!

STILL ON SUNDAY...MID LEVEL FLOW OVER SOUTH TEXAS WILL BACK MORE TO
SOUTHWEST...HELPING TO EXPLAIN DAY TIME TEMPERATURE INCREASES ON
SUNDAY AND MONDAY...BUT ALSO SUPPORTING WARM SECTOR CONVECTION OVER
EAST TEXAS. THE DRY LINE WILL ALSO PLAY A ROLE...BEING FORCED EAST
FROM WEST TEXAS TOWARD CENTRAL TX ON SUNDAY...EVENTUALLY PROVIDING A
FOCUS FOR CONVECTION WITH THE APPROACH OF THE FRONT. THE SUBTROPICAL
JET ALOFT WILL ADD A BIT OF INSTABILITY AS THE FACTORS CONVERGE FOR
TSTM DEVELOPMENT ALONG THE FRONT AS IT APPROACHES DEEP SOUTH TEXAS
MONDAY NIGHT. POPS CHANCES WILL BEGIN TO INCREASE ACROSS THE UPPER
VALLEY MONDAY NIGHT...SUSTAINING THROUGH FROPA ON TUESDAY. TSTM
POTENTIAL WILL BE IN THE CHANCE CATEGORY TUESDAY...WITH A FEW
STRONGER STORMS POSSIBLE. A FEW HOURS OF MODERATE TO POTENTIALLY
HEAVIER RAINFALL WILL BE POSSIBLE...WITH AMOUNTS BETWEEN A HALF AND
ONE INCH POSSIBLE FOR MOST OF THE CWA...WITH SOME AMOUNTS ABOVE
AN INCH POSSIBLE...ESPECIALLY AS THE FRONT NEARS THE COAST. TEMPS
WILL BE 10 DEGREES COOLER ACROSS THE BOARD TUESDAY...TUESDAY
NIGHT...AND WEDNESDAY...WITH THE INCREASED RAIN CHANCES AND CLOUD
COVER...BUT STILL ONLY SLIGHTLY BELOW NORMAL.

Y'all be safe up there in the DFW area. Sounds like things are ramping up quickly in the severe weather dept.

Sirens going off here in Richardson.

This is the hardest rain I've seen in a very long time.

We had to shelter-in-place at work since the circulation was heading right for us. But it's been cancelled.

Right when they told us to go to our designated area, the wind was crazy.

My gauge is showing about 3.3".
