I have a sick feeling in my stomach. Dr. Greg Forbes says debris ball is 1/4 to 3/4 mile wide IN Bessemer.

Storm has weakened yet again...this cell is crazy with the cycling. Hope it's not going to ramp up over Birmingham metro.

Hospital in Bessemmer apparently took a direct hit.
EDIT: Power knocked out, tornado may have passed by very close, but hospital in Bessemer reportedly DID NOT take a direct hit.

saved Birmingham, though they may have had flooding as rain rates were 4 inches per hour
That is possible? I know on May 1-2, 2010, it slowed what looked to be a major outbreak down, but left catastrophic flooding in Nashville and area...

Texas Snowman wrote::uarrow: That one - for the umpteenth time today - has a debris ball with it.
Remember March 2, 2012? It was the same thing but this event had far more TDS sigs then any other event. You posted a lot of tweets from that 2012 one with constant mention of debris balls I think.
6 TOR warnings at once, so we're still in outbreak mode overnight and the event started at 1:00 pm; just exhausting and extraordinary.
