They fizzled out extremely quickly, doesn't sound like they were true monsters. What's your take on that?

This is cool, storms and convection is just shooting (unzipping) from that point and training new severe storms. Then you can see the tail all the way to extreme southern Texas! :) Reminds me of 31/05/13.

From the cams that http://www.abc3340.com/category/220454/ ... -7-weather is showing, there is a ton of lightning with the line of embedded supercells. Still the same number of TOR warnings as 1.5 hours ago.

A TOR warned supercell in NC was not expected, currently severe warned but a slight hook remains. Also, are people suddenly forgetting you can get strong tornadoes in a quasi-line? Seems like Spann is on the "well, things are slowing transitioning, not classic anymore" stuff. No mention of the incredible parameters...

They keep moving that moderate risk closer and closer to me in Baton Rouge, and yet still not a drop of rain.

The debris ball is downright sickening. Looks for sure like a potential violent tornado.

I thought everything was going to remain north of us save for a little rain and maybe a small thunderstorm. I guess they don't want to risk it? It has been misting for a while here now but no real rain to speak of.

We are well within the slight risk and have been all day today. Tomorrow will be the same. I wouldn't mind a nice thunderstorm, cool down some temperatures and stuff. Not looking for a tornado, but a light show wouldn't be so bad.

Its not just you, I just noticed that too. Still "unzipping" in LA with new storms. Looks like in far southern MS there is a branch-off of new storms from the constant line. Could be key.

There does appear to be a cell intensifying well to the southeast of Jackson,MS
approaching the MS/AL line. It looks like it has the potential to be the next tornado warned storm... :(
