Am I reading this correctly? It would be just over an inch? Thanks in advance.

I see over half an inch, close to .75 of QPF. Not much of it is snow though as the 850 temps are above 0. However, that is really getting nitpicky and there is no way to know the temp within a few degrees which is how close it is. Also, that is just the GFS operational run so the Ensembles may differ. It gives you a decent idea, though.

I can help! In addition to what BigB said, it looks like a heavy dose of sleet ending as a little snow up to an inch/inch and half.

This is what our local met posted on Facebook this evening!
KPLC 7 News
As we continue to look at the models for the next 48+ hours, here's a travel note from Zack Fradella KPLC:
Traveling will likely become dangerous by early Tuesday morning. Get to your location Monday night and plan to remain in place through Wednesday. Models do indicate there could be some significant ice and snow amounts which could also lead to power outages.

I am afraid, if the models are correct, that roads could be bad for 3 days. Tue-Wed-Thur. If we get a significant ice/snow pack then Wednesday's high will not be as high as forecast and any melting that occurs will just refreeze as there is another deep freeze forecast for that night. With our last event they didn't have all the interstates and bridges open until well into the day Saturday, around 3 or so. This would probably be even later unless they could find a way to put more crews out on them and like I said, may have to wait until Thursday afternoon.

I'll post some meteograms for you guys when the 0Z GFS data gets put out. Send me a request in a PM for your area and I'll toss them out later tonight. I'll include the 850mb temps so you have a better idea of ptype.

Also, I edited my excel file for GFS to be able to make meteograms for the NAM. However, I'm uncertain if I correctly did it. Does this look right for the 0Z NAM @ Houston Hobby?

00z GFS has a streak of 6"+ snow totals going right over me much like the latest NAM. Incredible.

Meteorologist just texted me and said gfs shows about 2 inches of sleet and 2 inches of snow in the golden triangle.

Looking at the Precip Type for the GFS it starts as Sleet and a little bit of Freezing Rain, at the back end is when the GFS shows some Snow. Its going to be a mess for your area! Stay Warm! lol

Per PM requests. I'm still waiting for the 0Z GFS data to load to the site to plug into the spreadsheets.
