CNN headline news brief

#1 Postby msbee » Thu Sep 11, 2003 3:37 pm

at 4PM today I was watching CNN Headline News briefly.
the News Brief in text at the bottom of the screen says:
"Hurricane Isabel still on track heading in direction of Puerto Rico;may get there this weekend"
this is ridiculous!
they make it sound like it's going right to Puerto Rico
isn't there anything anyone can do about this stupidness?

CNN is pathetic. They know absolutely nothing about hurricanes.

I really haven't watched the news since a few days after 9-11. About the only thing I watch on TV is ESPN, and the premium movie channels. :)

I'm with you snoopj... we use our TV for playing the gamecube or PS2 and get 99.99% of our news on the internet or radio. certainly makes things like CNN a little more hilarious when you ARE well informed- but I feel sorry for the people who dont' know to not trust such strong statements... against most models.

And this is exactly why I refuse to listen to any TV converage for Isabel. Not that I need to be told an idoitic opinion like CNN has been saying, however, I will stick to the pure facts and be avioding all TV coverage of Issy
