I was watching some of their web videos and they desperately need to update the graphics so they can be legit competition, but as far as people they have it looks like they may be getting some of the people pushed out the door at the weather channel like Rich Johnson, Dennis Smith, Jeff Morrow, and Jill Brown from what I can see so its a start but we'll see who else they can get before a possible launch and as for their web site go to here ocpostsentel.com or look up Network weather LLC on google or yahoo

Unfortunately the link is not working. Only goes to a generic Hearldonline news, nothing about this channel. Was looking forward to the "Band" getting back together. The current TWC is becoming a spectacle and very theatrical. And what is it worth the way those folks dress, particularly the women. Do they not have mirrors.

I'm really looking forward to this. Got it marked on my calendar. I really miss Dave Schwartz and his wonderful sense of humor and enthusiasm and delivery..... I'm hoping that their is enough audience to sustain the channel. Nothing will ever be as big as the weather channel. But hopefully by them putting this out, they are getting the word out that many people just want the basic weather, not hour after hour of documentaries....

Most everyone on weather.com acts like a robot these days... I know they are just doing their job, but between all the weather shows and robotic SHORT weather segments, I can't even watch it anymore....

EDIT: Crap! I misread it, I thought it was October 2013, not October 2014. Very strange for them to announce this over a year in advance...Hopefully they won't change their minds by then...

Hmm, I didn't hear anything about Dennis Smith or Jill Brown joining them. That would be awesome if they did of course. I was a big Jill Brown fan back I the day.... but where did you hear this?

who else is there? Maybe I'm missing something? You have Direct TV, Dish Network, Comcast.... So when they say, "nationwide cable channel" what do they mean?? Oh well.... if not, then it's another good reason for me to get rid of Comcast then and hop on board whatever service that this channel is being offered on then....
I guess I just didn't realize there were that many cable networks...

I'll email Dave Schwartz and see if Time Warner is in the cards, if so, then Time Warner hear I come.....I've always hated Comcast and their insane prices anyway.

Or, I'll just watch the network strickly on the internet, since they said they will be live 24/7 on the internet and on cable. Probably just a minimal subscription price to pay to watch them on the internet.
