I'm guessing four. Being conservative given what has been happening in the season thus far.

I voted for 4. I am not convinced of and explosion of activity, but it does seem likely for at least an uptick. With a bit of luck, the harm potential will be low. (At least, I hope so -- need to sell the house! :) ) Of course, I really have no idea what I am talking about, so there is that...

This season has been a total bust, which is a good thing as we all need a break from natural disasters. I voted for 2 as the season is just about done. wake me up when the season starts

I went with two, the opposite of my prediction for August. Now that I go low, the Atlantic will pop 10+ named storms in September  .

Who knows, maybe the strongest storm of 2013 will be in November at this rate?

Those who still have not voted and are thinking about this poll question have to decide in less than 24 hours as the poll closes on Saturday at 3:12 PM EDT.

3/2/2 - I will echo WxMan57's sentiments by saying that I think a major hurricane strike on the US is possible this month - time period - 9/20 to 9/27 - may threaten the Gulf Coast...another major hurricane may develop behind that one...

This is the last call to vote in poll for those who still have not done so. Is a sure bet 96L will not develop into a named storm before this day is out so take that into consideration. Poll closes at 3:12 PM EDT.
