I think we get AT LEAST 10 named storms. NHC, JBastardi, and CSU are the pros and they all maintain that the season will be very busy. With the untouched, unchurned waters out there and September being the peak, it should be a blockbuster month. CSU has a forecast of 18/8/3 and we have already had 5 NS no Canes so that would mean they must expect approximately 10/7/2 in Sept which would leave 3/1/1 for Oct/Nov time-frame. Other experts forecasts are similar expecting ideal conditions for many storms.

5/3/1

Lots of warm water out there. Hopefully, they're all fish and just provide some nice surfing action! (I've never surfed in my life but I know how some folks live for big swells.)

8/4/2. If we get F storm with 95L, with my eight we would be at N storm by end of September.

Growing model support for multiple systems in the basin in 10 days or so. Don't rule out a 95L type system or two in the Gulf or Caribbean developing into a storm either. MJO phase is transitioning now to one that is much more conducive for storms to form.

I am going with 2. My analog year says 5 for September. The 6 for August turned out to be 2, so unless something else cranks up for August, September should be more of the same I think.

I'm going with 6/3/1. September seems much more promising than August ever did.

I went with 6. No clue how many will be majors, but I think at least 2 of them.
