RobWESTPACWX -

Flooding in Tampa. Some roads closed. Power lines down and outages in Sun City area. Watching a band moving in from the gulf. Looks nasty. Channel 8 NEWS WFLA..

Oh my, she got stronger overnight, the local TV mets said 45-50 at most at landfall along West Coast Fla.(IIRC) during the 11pm weather segment(s) in Jacksonville, Fl.
What is the thinking now from the pro-mets and others now?
I have to go to Gainesville, Florida from Jacksonville today(06-06-13) for a doctors appointment about my heart, and the kicker is that the appointment was originally for this past Monday that was rescheduled for today.

Wow!! Could Andrea possibly make it to hurricane status? She has defied the odds for sure.

Im concerned because it is the last day of school here in Miami and Broward. Plenty of cars and school buses on the road with students and teachers (including me). I hope everyone gets to school safely. It should be gone by the time school is over.

there is a decent amt of time for some heating to works its magic between band 1 and band 2, lets see if something can get going later this morning as band 1 moves out, the cloud deck is really thick right now so there is no heating to be had if this continues but it could open up in a couple of hours..band 1 has been a player, might be more impressive then band 2 when we do a wrap on andrea, at least for the southern half of the penninusla

I agree Robbielyn, but its certainly not weakening yet - it is traveling in the direction of shear so it may take a while to actually weaken.
