985MB or even lower....she is not wasting time IMO.....very scary watching these things take off like this....of course the winds will take time to catch up with the pressure....

Recon just found the pressure is holding steady at 989mb
Gradient still seems broad.

Definately looks like the storm is strengthening rapidly eye starting to form with convection wrapping around

According to the 4 recon VDMs, this storm has barely moved east in the past few hours. It has moved .02 degrees East and .78 degrees North. That's nearly due north movement.
