Andrew I think from that last radar post, I got "saved" we'll call it b/c I see, not a gap, but a buffer btw the "ex-tropical" 93 and the cold front that was supposed to push it into my area. I have a lot of family in the poconos though so I'll try and reach them and see how there doin.

IMO that front you see behind the 93L flow "may" cause some issue over the night if it intensifies. I also thought that front was supposed to be farther east by this time in the day, again I guess I didn't take into consideration a difference btw a regular cold front and the the tropical-ish low flow, so maybe they don't "merge" as it were, but gather a 1-2 punch??? we'll see...or not i hope lol.

We need to get some "multi-front-merging" guys in on this!

I was hoping for 2/3rds of a "perfect storm" (if they merged) but they and Nadine didn't cooperate lol.... imagine if she had...

This system may actually intensify, merging isn't working all that well now.

haha I loved that pic

sustained winds have been increasing but I haven't seen any increase in gusts. Also it's been...well...dry to say the least. A few drops in the wind here and there, but no real "rain".

looks like i'm in between bands right now and the major convection is still decently to the west...bummer..or..yay?

I currently have may garage door open, blowing maybe 15 degrees into my garage. I'm seeing more consistent wind but no change in intensity. Seems like the lower level clouds have slowed but I can no longer (barely) distinguish btw the lower and upper clouds (good or bad). This is all of the "calibrated eye" but I see maybe 20 mph sustained w/ 35 mph (tops) prly 30...

Yeah I'm tracking on radar that "non-93" front and here she starts to push. I'll let you know if I see anything crazy but I'm on my way outside (garage) to watch it come in. GL to all...and this should be a crazy 2hrs(ish)

I'll check back inside every so often as long as the power holds out, shouldn't be too much of a show but hey...

heavy rain just hit after a light wind gust "event"...looks like it's finally heading east due to the "other" cold front

Heavy rain now and maybe 30 mph winds sustained/45 mph (rare) gust :sun:

Still in and out though...think we're seeing banding flowing back to the NW before the 2nd front pushes through??

First squall line(sort of)forecast to move through southern florida tonight. Is it related to ex 93l? Oh, and I think it's a bit early for such event to move through here this time of year.

Steady rain now, IMO i wouldn't call it "heavy" but medium downfall, wind has died down a bit but the gusts stay the same. No damage or threat so far...looks like a close miss for us (730 est) so far.

5-10 min wait gave no lighting seen nor thunder herd so I think i'm outside the "heavy" stuff...for now

lots of rain coming in...more heavy to come from noaa's radar...(just had a flicker)...from 93L''s left-overs...still waiting to see if the cold front behind it brings the lightning/thunder (nothing from 93L) (obs)

Rain is slow but steady, winds have died down. Seem's like we're waiting for the cold front from the west to push through.
