stay safe down there. Looks like Isaac's eye could be coming to pay you a visit. Sure hope he does it sooner rather than later. Cat 2 run might be in the mix if he continues to strengthen. Reports from Grand Isle are winds gusts over 100 mph

You can create you own account to use it. It is Free. I am in no way associated with the site, just letting you guys know its out there. So far its been fantastic. I've been running a 6 hr KLIX radar animation and you can do up to 12 hrs. But it does many other things and does them pretty good.

I didn't think there was much spoil bank left at Southwest Pass. I figured the rock jetties would stop ole Isaac in his tracks

and according to them it should be 32 NW of where it made landfall almost 4 hours ago.

We are getting racked pretty hard right now. South Lafourche Airport is reporting gusts to 76mph right now so I could well believe that GI is getting 100mph gusts. The house is shaking a bit but the genny is running and I am surfing the web even if it is a bit slow. I sure don't like the creaks and groans of the house but I know it is built for this and alot more. Rain is really coming down now and I walked outside a bit ago and you can definitely feel that it has gotten quite a bit warmer in the past hour even with all the wind and rain.

32 miles for a hurricane whose central core is around that size anyway isn't much of an error. Let's just see what it does since it's been wobblin' around so much. Let's see where it is by tomorrow morning. I'm just saying the NHC is still doing fine on the forecast.
