Really a big difference. It does not seem like much, but it is in the grand scheme of things. A few miles here or there for us in SELA, makes a ton of difference.

Lower Plaquemine Parish...didn't happen for Katrina, or Gustav, but the angle of this storm is much different...regardless of intensity, it has alot ot do with angle of landfall. Thank goodness it did not get itself together any time before landfall.
Looks like HWY 23 I used to live in Belle Chase. Lots of Plaq. Parish is not there anymore. Some land we used to crab on I'd just gone. Note the ship in the left coating at road level. Is this south of where the levee runs along the Hwy. Like south of English turn? That is scary if it is, never saw the river get up over the levee.
