FLAMING IDIOT

FLAMING IDIOT: A burglar used a blowtorch to open a safe at Perkins
Family Restaurant in Charleston, S.C. In his zeal, he set the money in
the safe on fire. A surveillance video shows him run to get buckets of
water to put out the fire. "He probably realized he was burning up what
he's trying to steal," one of the restaurant's owners said. The man got
away with about $3,000 in singed, soggy cash. (Charleston Post and
Courier) ...Thus fulfilling his lifelong dream "to have money to burn."

Yep ... saw that on the news this morning ... That Perkins in Charleston off of Ashley Phosphate Road and Rivers Ave (U.S. Hwy 52) was my ex-g/f's favorite place to eat ...

Some people will do anything to be an idiotic robber. :?

I never ate at a Perkin's Family Restaurant until I moved to Florida, just over three years ago. I like there food. The one down the street on U.S. 27/441 is a very busy restaurant, mostly senior citizens frequent it. :)
