Not sure if its just an optical illusion due to the expanding convection or not but Isaas appears he could miss the next NHC point to the right

Note: If I make a post that is brief. Please refer back to previous posts for the analysis or reasoning. I do not re-write/qoute what my initial post said each time.

Was wondering that too...unless the center is actually south of the ball of convection and he isn't in fact organizing since the center is removed from that?

So true and something that always gets forgotten being so worried about where the actual storm is going and how strong it will be. Remember around here with Gustav before we lost power had tornado warnings every couple of minutes for our area. They were all radar indicated but they were non-stop.

Center is on the southern edge of that blob. It is slowly trying to wrap around.

Neither of Cuba's radar sites work for me. They are all old images.

Tight fist developing on IR...rapid intensification COULD start soon or at least some very steady intensification...watch out! Here comes ISAAC

Look at cyclone's post. COC just off coast. Not in center of fist.

quickly intensifying system when all the slackers(j/k) are going to sleep in sofla is not a good scenario...too bad recon isnt out there, its odd that we would have this long of a window without recon this close to the usa...oh well, enjoy IR its the only thing we have for nowjinftl wrote:Be interested in reading the NHC Discussion at 11pm and see if the growing ball of convection near the center is in fact the start of Isaac intensifying. We have seen this before with Isaac - he looks to be getting his act together on satellite, but recon often found that not to be the case. we will see..
