Gee, it's amazing that when we go back to bashing Clinton, the only thing that CAN be brought up is the sex scandal. Amazing.

What did Bushwhacker Sr. ever accomplish?? He had one of the best opportunities to clean up terrorism and the mess in the middle east, but didn't have the guts. Now Baby Bushwhacker is trying, and he is failing too. They never seem to be able to finish the job right. Don't get me wrong, Clinton was kind of laughable also, as a matter of fact, all politicians are laughable. We need to clean house in the politicians of our country.

What do you mean, he didn't have the guts? During Bush Sr's presidency, the US built a strong coalition with several Arab countries (many who had not trusted the US until this point), as well as European ones, that helped to fight for the liberation of Kuwait from Iraqi occupation. This led to a renewal of the mideast peace process, which had been at a stand-still. AND there was the passage of the Americans with Disabilities Act.

Two great accomplishments - one domestic, one international.

"We need to clean house in the politicians of our country"?

Aren't you in Canada? Toronto, Montreal and Ottawa weren't attacked...WE were, and your Government has been less than cooperative in staying the flow of illegal immigrants into OUR country, much less joining in a war that concerns every Western nation, and not a few Eastern ones.

Al Qaida doesn't care what nationality you may claim...as far as they're concerned, you are an "infidel", and your death will please them as much as ours did, and still does. This is a war of democracy vs. despotism...of freedom and resolve vs. "religious/political" ideologies and suicidal fanaticism.

Intimidator, Canadians are NOT immune....sooner or later, the eyes of the terrorists will fix on YOUR country. What then, eh?

We shall see how "intimidating" you are when that happens.

In a way, I have to agree with Intimidator to a point...this business as usual, accomplish nothing, blame each other crap has to stop.

We all need to take a look inside to see what needs fixed before we start suggesting how others should fix their problems or "fixing it for them".

And while you are engaged in introspection, Steph...expect another hit from the blindside, courtesy of Wahhabi Islam and its adherents.

They won't stop...neither should we.

Glad you clarified. It can be confusing when American towns have the same names as some foreign cities. I'll never forget when an elementary school classmate of mine announced she was moving to Paris. Years later, I learned there was a Paris, KY....as well as London.

I stand corrected, Intimidator; you have every right to criticize as you see fit (even if I choose to disagree), since you live here, and I assume exercise your right to vote, campaign, etc., just as I do.

I do have a problem with people from other countries telling US where to get off...glad you ain't one of 'em!

I wouldn't doubt it Bill, but we are far from perfect too. We are only kidding ourselves if we think we are. No matter what we do, there will always be terrorists, thugs, extremists. That in no way means that we should just give up.

Welcome to America Intimidator - the land of the free as in free thought and speech!

As for differing opinions, it would be really boring around here if everyone agreed on everything, now wouldn't it??

Yes it would! There's alot that can be learned from all of us here that's for sure!
