Interesting...dropsonde recorded 50 knot winds at the surface, while SFMR says 42 or 43 knots in that same location...and highest flight level winds (in the 50s) occurred after that.

Yes - Debby has Tropical characteristics - however she's is a Hybrid type/ Sea storm (I think)
I think this will enable the heavy warm front moisture to her S.W to join in and help regenerate whatever the heck she is. Welcome to the "Gulf of B.P." - where strange things happen often

Yes but it has gone up 1mb from 990 recently per twc

It's actually down to 990 from 993. The pressure dropped.

Those high flight-level winds recon found in the NW quadrant last flight have all but disappeared. Really, recon only supports 40-45 knots despite the lower pressure. Makes sense as essentially all the deep convection has disappeared from around Debby's core.

I am really hoping this rain lets up, 3 days straight.. This last band that is coming through just made my lights flicker, never hear my weather band radio go off so much in 24 hours in 8 years. I am not a fan of the wind.. and its too high for me at 40mph gusts.. steady at 30mph..

Yeah, that one was respectable. And after a solid week of rain plus what we had on Friday, I think we have had our quota for the year.
