Ive noticed the low clouds deck around the center is beginning to thicken and the convection on the side is slowly getting closer. could see a burst near the center over the next hours.

I see that too, Aric. Also some really large bursts of deep convection coming towards Tampa in the next few hours.

I am really fearful of the copious amounts of rain totals many here could be looking at by the middle of this upcoming week because of Debby's slow forecasted movement. This could rival Fay '08 in several areas across the state. This really could be very very bad.

Not much wind in Citrus County. But a TON of rain.

Funnily enough, it's the opposite here in Tally - wind is picking up, but not as much rain

Yeah...I figured if it does occur, longer ranges would be more likely...that is the time frame where no one thinks "oh hey! It's outside the cone that was posted 4 days ago now!", because the cone has updated like 10 or 15 times by then...you're not going to remember, and no one ever goes back to do a verification of it on here.

Dry air has really begun to get pulled in the west side now that its has stalled. that will keep it in check for awhile till the shear weakens ( if at all)

It might be a visual illusion from the upcoming sunset, but it looks (to my unprofesisonal eyes) that clouds are building back over the center of circulation, or at least the western side of the center.

Really looks like the convection in the NW Quad might be pulling it slightly to the NW.

Look at the convection to the NW of the center...notice the cirrus aren't streaming off to just the NE anymore? They fanned out to the W/SW/S/SE/E...shear dropping? What level was the shear at?

Meh ... maybe this is like looking at fair weather cumulus because I see a stationery storm with no movement.

The LSU image though is nice. Good one to bookmark.
