Oh great, now they hold it at 95 knots? The reason I'm concerned is because if recon doesn't find higher winds/lower pressure during its stay in Bud, I wonder if the NHC will ever upgrade it. If Bud happens to decide to stop, where is the pathway to major? I don't see the problem with upgrading Bud to major status, I knew this was a major the first instant I looked at it. Do the 108 knot FL winds not convert down to around 100 at the surface?

Regardless, is it safe to say that Bud is nearing explosive intensification status? Thinking about this ride we have all been on as Kingarabian said, what an insane turn of events.
