Over here on the west side of the bay, we have waves breaking on the seawall, spray racing from one end to the other, and we’re on the lee side of Gaillard Island- this is the baby pool! Winds at Middle Bay Light 45mph per Wundermap- much more weather than we were expecting. Maybe this is just Lee’s tail end but it’s packing a punch!

Welcome to the board, glad you signed up to let us know! I'm in Pace just to the east of Pensacola...about 1/2 mile from the bay. Getting rocked with heavy rain at the moment, wind in squalls as to be expected. Good luck, hope we all don't need a row boat by the time all this ends.

I certainly hope brings relief to more areas in Texas and doesn't overstay his welcome in LA, MS & AL.

A pic looking east from Spring TX, just north of Houston. We can see it, we can smell it, we just can't taste it. Splendid rainbow with stringers of rain coming down.

Looking at radar and obs.. center sure seems to be offshore drifting west at this time. Not saying this will continue, but interesting nevertheless.

Been watching that too and Remembering when a few days ago one of the models showed it moving to the coast and then shifting west following almost the entire La and Texas coastlines.

Good luck ROCK, jasons, and the rest of y'all to my west. It's been raining here steadily since about noon, and I've been doing my best to blow it westward. P

Quite windy as well.

We're getting some stronger winds now. My guess 40-50 mph.

looking at the Lake Charles radar loop...looks like the center MAY be inching ssw type motion...or a wobble..whichever you prefer..

Lee seems to be getting cut off. The line of storms that are coming through baton Rouge are moving almost due north and not as cyclonical with Lee. I think the large surge of dry air is causing that.

brunota2003 wrote:Nah, it didn't get posted in here...I think it was posted in the Katia discussion (where I first saw it). Wish they had kept it though, to see what all Lee does this evening, since he is being hard headed.

And I understand about all that, all you really can do is just try to push forward. I broke up with my gf Thursday night, so have been enjoying time with friends playing call of duty and watching the tropics. Usually weather does a pretty good job of cheering me up and what not...and thankfully it looks like we might get some strong to severe storms tomorrow, so the weather won't be too boring!

Will keep ya in my prayers :D

Thanks Brunota....weddings done and he gets to put up with her not me. ;) Onward!
