Well......here we are, the 30th day of August, just 22 days till autumn and my veggie garden is JUST about finished but not without producing more tomatoes than I've EVER had and the sad part is.....they're coming off, every single vine, ALL at the SAME TIME.....no kidding, no lie....I'm going to have somewhere near 200 lbs. of 'maters ALL AT ONCE :o It's been a VERY good garden this year, except for the cabbage, like I posted before, they split  but the zucchini, yellow crookneck squash, jalapenos, green chilies, cauliflower have been fantastic! So....how's your veggies doing?

Everything has laid down and given up
except the okra and October beans, here,
Dennis. The okra finally decided to kick in
like crazy after the heat kicked in! LOL, you'd
better get down here and pick some, before
it's GONE! ;) :D

Dennis - you'd better get busy canning!!! I remember growing up - if you didn't have a garden yourself, neighbors were practically giving you bushels of tomatoes. My parents usually had a garden though.

Everything turned out well here except our watermelons and cabbage. The animals got the cabbage.

Veggies are really overpopulated here in Michigan right now! Everyone had pretty good luck in their gardens.

Three different people at work gave me tomatoes yesterday......I went to the Farmer's Market this morning and got tons of peppers and onions to make a couple batches of salsa...........SO BUSY with other things.....but this stuff just doesn't wait!........p
