Everybody please stay safe.

So far here everybody is saying Irene will "only be a tropical storm moving to our west", so they are "not at all concerned". Well, I'm not saying it will be the end of the world here, but I hope it turns out that way. Living near the coast, I am rather concerned about our high tide that will happened up here in the wee hours on Monday right when Irene will be making her nearest pass to out area.

Stephanie I hope it doesn't get too much worse. Be careful!

I heard a report on CNN earlier about tornado damage to 15 houses in Delaware. Hope you are hunkered down and everybody around you is safe.

Anybody who needs anything, let us know.

Stay safe everyone in the path!

Looking like some suggest winds of 40-60 mph here tomorrow, and maybe heavy rain.

Report that Ocean City NJ resident evacuated to inland about an hour ago, barely escaping streets flooding out. Says his business in Wildwood and many thousands of dollars of equipment underwater already.

On facebook, someone started a page, Jersey Shore Hurricane news, from what everyone is saying, they are getting beat to hell already. It is driving me nuts to read the posts ( I was born and raised there, have alot of family there that didn't leave). I just hope they all stay safe

IN between rain bands right now, some hard steady rain for hours before, lights flickering a bit an hour go. sounds like we're about to get hit with the heavy stuff soon, I'll try and keep you guys up as long as our batteries/power stay up.

Stay safe out there.

i'm quite surprised that we still have power here... some really strong gusts for the past hour or so probably around 50mph... trees holding on there but some small branches now littering the roads...
