When I made that post they were flying that high, is just recently that they went down after passing over Grand Bahama.

BTW, closed low found near 26.5N & 78.1W

I'd like to be a fly on the wall at NHC right now, and see what they are saying about this.

It also appears to be elongated like I thought earlier.

Could be an elongated and broad surface circulation.

What if there is a special update at 5?

Ok, but seriously, I think they'll wait to five to make sure its closed and not too elongated.

i would think because of the nw bahamas more than the u.s. coast, no? I wouldn't expect any watches or warnings outside of the nw bahamas

So far very light winds found, but I am sure that stronger winds are probably going to be found on the SW quadrant of the circulation.
Emily's remnants is suffering the same effects as Don did.

ALL this WNW movement is the convection be blown away and rebuilding ... the low level circ is not moving much.. and is probably be reformed over multiple times since the convection is displaced.

Disclaimer: 50% of the time I have no clue of what I am talking about. Chances are I am taking a less than educated guess that sounds good because 10 years ago I stole Mike Watkins book 'The Hurricane and its Impact'. For official information please direct yourself to the NHC and their cadre of weather geniuses.

unless there is a significant west wobble, I don't anticipate a watch on the SE FL coast. But, it wouldn't take much of a wobble west to have an impact there.
