I guess they were checking out one of the vorticities.

All the talk was the storms would be on the E side of the circulation and SFL would be on the "dry side" and it appears to be the opposite, assuming the 18z position is accurate.

The highest point (aside from buildings) in the Bahamas is 207 ft ASL.
