Looking at the recon it looks like it have a bit more nw movement now than the wnw that it had before, i believe it will make landfall north of Corpus Christi.

Eh.... Corpus isn't out of the question, but not much more North than that, I don't think. The good news is that storms have begun to develop Northeast of the storm, so hopefully these storms will build into a nice feeder band and head across SE Texas.
