Monthly Seasonal Track Maps

#1 Postby Pearl River » Fri Jul 01, 2011 1:56 pm

If someone has already posted this I apolgize:

From the NHC:

Beginning this year, NHC will be producing preliminary seasonal track maps for the Atlantic and eastern North Pacific basins that will be updated at the conclusion of each month during the season. The first of these maps and a brief summary of tropical cyclone activity during the month of June can be found at: http://www.hurricanes.gov/archive/2011/tws/

I didn't know either, but its a great addition. I did think this month's summary was really weak.

There isn't much of a summary with only one storm.

The EPAC graphic might see dramatic change since Beatriz may have made landfall and dissipated overland...
