Rita (late September) and Ike (mid-September) demonstrated that June all the way through September is a dangerous time along the Louisiana coast ... much less likely for SW LA andSE TX after the end of September. I think Lili was a good example of how troughs usually come into play by early October.
For 2011, I still think a better than average chance for more active period early in the season. My guess for the heart of the season is that the SE U.S. coast (Florida to NC) has greatest chance of significant landfall(s).

these early landfall predictions really hold no water at all.....why they keep posting them is beyond me....

I like how 2 of the "highest" risk are always at a higher risk anyway because they stick out(Florida and the Carolinas).
