Okay I got everything done and now all i have to do is watch some movies and wait for this cold front to arrive. Rdar is juicing up a bit.

Cold front has not hit here (Weatherford) yet, but it is knocking on the door. CF is in Parker County, has passed Millsap and Garner and just now entering Weatherford. A mist here now and 45 degrees. Wind should shift in the next few minutes.

CF is moving southeast at more than 20 mph, and is located from Brownwood-DeLeon-Weatherford-Decatur-Gainesville.

I think it's pretty safe to say the HRRR is clueless atm. It will correct itself as the event unfolds, but still...you should get 3-5 pretty steadily I think along the Red River.

No doubt lol, I'm sitting here in my hotel room watching a big rig wrecker truck just parked in the middle of I-40, I guess waiting for stranded trucks coming from New Mexico since westbound is closed. 8 inches on the ground already and 30 mph wind. Nothing going through there for a while other than snow plows, and they can't stop the wind from blowing.

Snow still going strong, guess I have to go to sleep at some point but how many blizzards will I see in my life once I get home to Frisco, this is the first in 39 years. I know this hasn't technically been called a blizzard but it's probably as close as I'm ever going to get to one.

I'm very jealous of you right now. Hopefully we get a "mini blizzard" here, and not the kind dairy queen is selling.

Even though there isn't a blizzard warning, officially Amarillo has met the criteria. Been at 0.06 mile visibility for more than 3 hours and winds frequent 35mph or higher in the same amount of time.

I just lucked out, I'm actually up working as well. At first I wasn't thrilled about being sent to Amarillo for the past two weeks for work, I've since changed my tune. Snow is now piling up the windows on the side of my hotel room, wildest thing I've ever seen. It's snowdrifts, but still. That means the snowdrifts are going upwards of 3 feet.

Looks like the front will be through denton in the next 10 minutes or so. If thats the case, Plano looks to be in 30 min.
